Has anyone else experimented with the Thaumic paradigm? I'm working on a LHP blend of Lovecraft & Pratchett (with a liberal dash of Eris & Geometrics) in my personal system. The result so far has been that Astral or "Auric" magicks seems to benefit from the Discworld headspace especially when coupled with Platonic Solids as "elemental forces" . Any thoughts? Anyone been here?

    I prefer Charles Stross (Accelerando) and Vernor Vinge (A Fire Upon the Deep) with a liberal seasoning of Roger Zelanzy (paradigm shifter par excellence) to give it flavor.
